Since December 2006, Louise Cone from the Statens Museum for Kunst has been the INCCA regional coordinator for Scandinavia. She was one of the founding members of INCCA. Originally from New York, Louise holds a degree in Fine arts and has worked as a practicing artist before getting her Masters in Conservation from The School of Conservation in Copenhagen, where she is also a visiting lecturer.
Her emphasis is on creative problem solving involving artists, scientists, curators and others to collectively find innovative solutions to complex conservation issues. Louise will be working as the Scandinavian coordinator to engage Nordic contemporary art museums to participate in the INCCA network.
The INCCA Steering Committee is extremely pleased that Louise is able to dedicate time to INCCA in this way. Special thanks also to Jørgen Wadum, Head of Conservation at the Statens Museum for making this possible. If you are located in Scandinavia and are interested in joining INCCA or have other questions about INCCA activities in the region please contact Louise.
